Emmanuel Hernandez, a senior at Cathedral High in Los Angeles, took third in the Sundown Showdown boys varsity 3-mile race in 14:54.9 at the ASICS Cool Breeze Invitational at the Pomona Fairplex in California. Hernandez contributed to Cathedral finishing 18th as a team with 437 points.
