Joelle Upshur, a senior at Great Oak High, placed second in the girls varsity Division 1-2 race at the ASICS Cool Breeze Invitational, clocking 18:34.1 on the 3-mile layout at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, Calif. Upshur helped Great Oak produce five athletes in the top 10 to triumph with 23 points.
