Phoebe Benun, a junior at Santa Monica High in California, took third in the Sundown Showdown girls varsity 3-mile race in 17:41.4 at the ASICS Cool Breeze Invitational at the Pomona Fairplex in California. Benun contributed to Santa Monica finishing ninth as a team with 286 points.
