JSerra High in California won the Sundown Showdown girls varsity 3-mile title with 43 points at the ASICS Cool Breeze Invitational at the Pomona Fairplex in California. Summer Wilson finished second in 17:24.6, fellow sophomore Kaylah Tasser was fifth in 17:44.0, freshman Reese Holley secured seventh in 17:55.9, junior Anne Elise Packard earned 12th in 18:05.9, senior Georgia Jeanneret captured 17th in 18:17.6, freshman Hutton Nelligan placed 18th in 18:19.9 and ninth-grader Hayden Kroger achieved 20th in 18:25.3. Brooke O'Brien, a senior, grabbed 26th in 18:34.1, junior Giselle Vartanian was 49th in 19:05.8 and Molly Hux gave the Lions all 10 athletes in the top 100 by clocking 20:01.6.
